Attend the ‘I Real Estate Development Conference in Portugal’.

The APPI (Portuguese Association of Real Estate Developers and Investors) in partnership with Vida Imobiliária will host the I Real Estate Development Conference in Portugal on 8 September 2020. 

The conference, initially planned to be a presential event, but given the circumstances will be conducted online, aims to be an essential debate for ‘City Builders’ and all the social and corporate partners involved in promoting the improvement in the quality of the lives of residents, in the revitalisation, competitiveness and sustainability of cities, while at the same time analysing the impact that these issues have on real estate activity. These topics, important per se, have gained particular relevance during the Covid-19 crisis at a time when it is urgent to kick-start the Portuguese economy.  

The participants - from amongst who include such illustrious guests such as Ana Pinho, Secretary of State for Housing, the council officers for urban planning from both the Lisbon and Porto city councils, the ex-minister of the Economy, Professor Augusto Mateus (currently  with EY Parthenon) -, are divided by 6 panels where various topics will be debated throughout the day, between 9.30am and 6pm. 

José Cardoso Botelho, CEO of Vanguard Properties is one of the guest panel speakers who will discuss ‘The importance of the Golden VISA regime for investment attraction and economic recovery’ which will start at 3pm.
